Let’s get to it! Read on for your questions on psychics, mediums, and astrologers….answered.

Answering Your FAQ’s About Psychic Readings

How Do I Know If My Readings Are Accurate?

The easiest and most common way to determine the accuracy of a psychic or astrology reading is when events from the reading manifest in daily life. Of course life doesn’t always map out the way an astrology reading dictates, and this is when you need to pay attention to other signs, symbols, messages, and most importantly, feelings when you receive a reading.

What is your first instinct from your reading? Are you getting a warm feeling anywhere in your body? Maybe you even got a little upset from the reading. All of these feelings are messages from your soul that some important information was passed on to you.

Remember that no matter what your reading says, you always have the free will to alter your course and destiny. So, even if you hear something you don’t like, you can always make immediate changes that will of course affect the accuracy of your reading.

Where Do Astrologers, Psychics, & Tarot Readers “Get” Their Information?

This is perhaps one of the most confusing thing for people that consult with astrologers and psychics.

Where does this knowing come from? Astrologers use the mapping of the stars and planets to see how they impact us Earthlings.

Psychics and mediums work in a different way, and each of them receives information differently. Many of these fields overlap as well, so you may consult with a psychic astrologer, a medium clairvoyant, or a clairvoyant astrologer, and receive information from a wide variety of sources.

Even psychics don’t always know why they are getting the information they do, the only thing you need to worry about is if they are communicating it effectively.

Why Do I Need to Give More Information? Shouldn’t You Already Know All of This?

Psychics and astrologers are not all knowing, believe it or not! If they were given all of the information about every person on the planet at the same time, they would be mentally overloaded.

Just a few words from you is all of the information they might need to gain the most accuracy from your reading. So, if you are being asked for more information, it’s because they have some of the answers, and just need a little bit more direction from you to get there completely.

Is It Better To Get A Reading In Person or Online?

While it is nice to connect with someone in person, depending on where you live, you might not have direct access to someone that comes highly recommended. Given the current global situation, an online reading could be more appealing to you right now as well.

Online readings give you access to reviews of a reader while also allowing you to search for people with specific gifts, and you can always find someone available when you really need to talk.

The internet allows you to have access to some of the best readers in the world with just a click.

5 Tips For Getting a Successful Psychic, Astrology, or Tarot Reading

1. Try to Release Your Expectations

You’re approaching the reader because he or she is experienced in their skills, and you want to know more about your life. Try not to have any preconceived ideas about how the reading will go.

If you are certain that Johnny is the guy for you, and the reader just doesn’t see it in your chart, consider that possibility. Perhaps Johnny is the best person that you’ve met so far, and there are other more wonderful people yet to enter your life.

If you want them to confirm what you want to happen is going to happen, you’re not quite understanding that they can offer you. Never block the flow of abundance.

2. Take Part in the Discussion

Often your fear of being taken advantage of can keep you from taking part in the discussion. You may sit back waiting for your reader to impress you instead of helping them see where you really need some guidance.

The more cooperative and forthcoming you can be with things like the date, time and place of birth for all parties concerned, important dates from the past (like wedding dates or when you put your house on the market), or dates in the future (such as wedding dates or court appearances), then the more insight and guidance your astrologer can share with you.

3. Ask Open-Ended Questions

Most readers will appreciate this. Rather than asking something that is a straight “yes” or “no” answer, word your questions focusing on “how.”

“Will my finances improve,” limits your reader as to what he or she can tell you. “How can I work towards improving my financial situation,” gives your reader much more scope to look at planetary indicators, or markers in the Tarot or other oracles.

4. Don’t Look for Instant Gratification

If you’re looking for your reader to tell you that your problems are going to all go away, or the winning lottery numbers, you’ll be disappointed.

They will, however, give you direction to modify your attitude, behaviors, and lifestyle that can actually improve and remove problems if you’re patient and willing to receive that type of information.

5. Know Your Reader’s Specialties

Different readers have different skills. Just like you wouldn’t go to a dentist for a haircut, there’s really no point in visiting a Tarot card reader to have your birth chart interpreted.

While many astrologers read the Tarot, and many Tarot readers know their way around astrology, the two are very different disciplines.

If you have a specific method of divination in mind, then choose a reader who specializes in that method. This way you can be sure you are getting the very best of that reader’s skills and services.

Make sure to get your own free birth chart done! This can be presented to a reader to be interpreted further.

What to Ask Your Reader About

Asking about when or how you’re going to die is not at all the point of a reading.

Rather than asking this, leave the question more open-ended, maybe phrasing it, “What can you tell me about my death?” That way the reader can look into your birth chart, or other oracles, and share with you things that could influence it.

Try not to ask about if you will marry someone specific, if they are cheating, or if they like you. Instead, ask if this person’s energy feels like it is healthy for you, or how you can redirect your own energy to improve love in your life.

Read up on your daily love horoscope for more insights.

You can present a few career paths that you feel called to, and see how a reader feels you may best fit in them. You can also ask them what impressions they get about how you can succeed, or use your natural skills to enhance your career.

Once a reader knows what excites and motivates you, they can look for that in your chart or in oracles, and help you find the best way to manifest it.

Read up on your daily career horoscope for more insights.

You’re welcome to ask about money—but try to make it open-ended questions, and be open-minded about your reading. It may not be in your future to win mega-millions in the lottery, but you may have a multi-million dollar idea for an invention, or write the next blockbuster novel.

Money can manifest itself in many ways in the chart, as can luck. Remember, the planets influence you, but they don’t control you. Nothing can take away your birthright to free will.

Read up on your daily money horoscope for more insights.

Your psychic reader or astrologer is not a substitute for medical advice, and if you have any real health concerns, you should be discussing them with your healthcare provider.

Rather than asking your reader for a diagnosis, or a prediction of whether you or a loved one is going to come through a particular illness or incident, focus instead on asking your reader the best way to cope with things.

Conception and childbirth pretty much fall under the same guidelines as health readings. It is impossible to predict this accurately because you are in control of where you sow your oats! But there are aspects of the birth chart that can give you a clue.

Avoid asking your reader to guarantee you how many boys and girls you’re going to have and when you are going to have them. That kind of thing is not revealed in a chart with certainty, and the best that any good reader will do is to tell you what is possible, not what is a certainty.

Ask instead what the potential is for children. This stands to open up a much better dialogue for both of you.

Legal Matters

There are areas of the birth chart and specific Tarot cards that do pertain to the justice system, incarceration, and other areas of the law. However, just as your reader is not a substitute for medical or financial advice, he or she should not be your go-to for legal matters, either.

What you can ask your reader, though, is to see what the energies around a situation are.

What NOT to Ask Your Reader About

Questions that Start with “Will I?”

A better way of phrasing this would be to ask, “What are my chances of doing this,” or “Does this look like a good idea according to my chart.”

That way, your astrologer can explain the strengths and the weaknesses around the situation for you. Then, you can determine whether it is worth you investing your time and energy into it, or not.

What Are the Lottery Numbers?

Astrologers, psychics, and Tarot readers simply don’t “do” lottery numbers.

A better way of phrasing this is to ask about fortunate periods that are approaching, or if any financial gain is indicated in your chart.

There are aspects of the fifth house that can indicate good luck, there are aspects of the second house that can point to increased income, and there are planetary transits that can mean some periods may be more fortunate than others.

Can You Cast a Spell to Make My Ex Return?

A good astrologer, psychic, or medium, will not have a spell to get your ex back. It is simply unethical.

Readers work with planets and birth charts, and that is something completely different than working with spells. Ask your astrologer instead what he or she sees ahead of you for love.

Tell Me Something I Don’t Already Know About Myself

While you may want to test your astrologer, this is not the way to go about it. An astrologer is there to interpret the planetary energies for you so that you can move forward towards your highest happiness and your greatest success.

A better way to phrase this would be to ask your reader to help you understand what happened to you in your past, so that you can come to terms with it, get closure, and let it rest.

So, Should You Get a Psychic Reading?

Many people that get readings a few times per year or once a month use them to grow as the cycles of the year change. The one thing you need to ask yourself is not should you get a reading, but have you prepared yourself to get a reading?

After going over the best questions to ask and what not to ask, do you feel ready to see where you can change and how to shift your life? If you feel open to that then you should absolutely get a reading!

If you’re unsure if you are ready just yet, feel free to browse the abundance of resources we have on our website to guide you. Learning more about your birth chart, specialties such as clairvoyance, love compatibility, and more should guide you in the direction you want to go in for your own psychic reading.

No matter where you end up getting your online reading, be sure to read as many reviews as you can so that you know you’re meeting with someone who other people have had positive experiences with.

Hello beautiful souls and welcome to your astrology forecast for the week of August 24 – August 30!

The week starts out with the urge to move forward with a square between Mars (our passion) and Saturn (structures and time). This feeling of needing to act will continue into Tuesday with the first quarter Moon, which often has us feeling like we must decide to take action.

There’s exciting energy in the air this week as you are focused with the Sun in Virgo, and creative with the waxing Moon. You’re making headway on your goals, and have the energy to sustain your plan. You are ready to make steady progress towards what you’re working to manifest.

Use this Week to Manifest with the Moon

If you want to take advantage of the tail end of August, here’s the most important thing to note about this week’s astrology overview: When you use the building energy of the Moon, it will help you manifest.

This week, we have that building energy.

Write your goal down and visualize yourself having achieved it before you even get out of bed each day this week. Build excitement during this visualization. This will propel you towards actions and thoughts that will help you manifest what you need to make some real magic this week.

Love is Heightened

We still have Venus, the planet of love, moving through the emotional sign of Cancer (until September 6) making everyone crave some intimacy and love.

Give yourself a chance to actually have it by carving out some time for you and someone that gives you butterflies. Mercury is not retrograde, allowing at least some aspects of our lives to bloom!

It’s a good time to put effort into manifesting love, and you might just find some magic appear around the Full Moon on Wednesday, September 2. Just don’t let Sunday’s cosmic shakeup as Venus opposes Pluto, kill your spirits. Remember, it’s temporary to feel intense emotions. Try not to push something you want away just because you’re feeling emotional pressure.

What else can you expect this week from the stars?

People are still going through a categorically major shift personally and collectively as we have just started a new galactic year (which is a 250 million year cycle of our galaxy). We also have lingering retrograde energy with Uranus, Chiron, Pluto, Neptune, Jupiter, and Saturn.

It’s important to be patient with yourself.

If you feel energetic, know that you may feel different the next day, and just take it as it comes. Accept that the Universe is helping you to become the beautiful being your soul is destined to be! Be patient with your friends as they too are going through this energetic upgrade, and need time to integrate and process the changes.

Welcome to the Waxing Half Moon in Scorpio!

You’re probably wondering what the significance of the Waxing Half Moon is (if you are not a total astrology buff). Also known as the First Quarter Moon, this is the Moon phase that appears a week after the New Moon where one half of the Moon is dark and the other half is light.

What Energy Does the Waxing Half Moon Have?

All lunar phases have their own special energies attached, and this Moon is no different.

The Waxing Half Moon is a time of decision-making. In the New Moon phase the week before, we set our intentions and plan for the month ahead. Now we’re in the stage of taking action on our plans.

The Waxing Half Moon requires some grit – it’s not for the faint-hearted.

This is a time of strength and determination, and seeing things through; it’s a time for pushing through fear and doubt; it’s a phase where we think about previous decisions, and how to overcome future obstacles.

Above all, it is a time to transform emotional energy into creative passion – which is what makes this Waxing Half Moon in Scorpio such a special one!

Read this next: What is Moonology?

Scorpio & the Waxing Half Moon

Scorpio is the sign of transformation, so if anyone can turn energy into passion, it’s this one. The energy of this Moon works very well with this Fixed Water sign because both of them share similar traits – overcoming obstacles, transformation, and careful, strategic planning.

So as you can imagine, a Tarot spread during this phase can be enormously helpful!

During this phase, Scorpio’s natural energies are enhanced. We find ourselves more willing to face challenges and unafraid of the dark side of life; we feel drawn towards creative projects which require persistence; we doggedly pursue what we want; and we encounter situations or conversations which force us to face our own “shadow side.”

Waxing Half Moon in Scorpio Tarot Spread

The kind of Tarot spread we’ll be doing is one which harnesses the energies of this Moon phase and helps us as we move towards the Full Moon.

At this point, it’s important to recall the intentions you made during the New Moon phase. It’s worth writing down the challenges and obstacles you face at this time. This Tarot spread will help you make the link between your intentions and obstacles, as well as help you find solutions to them.

Let’s dive into it!

Question: How Can I Overcome My Obstacles During This Waxing Half Moon

Card 1: The obstacles I face

Card 2: My strengths

Card 3: My weaknesses

Card 4: Advice to overcome them

Read below for an example spread, and then try it out yourself.

Card 1: 8 of Swords

The 8 of Swords as the obstacle indicates that there is a fear inside me which is holding me back. Swords are thoughts – the fear may be irrational or rational, but it is keeping me from pushing through the challenges.

Based on the obstacles you have written down, you will know what this fear is.

Card 2: Queen of Cups

As a Court Card, the Queen of Cups often represents a person, someone warm-hearted, giving and intuitive. She could represent someone in my life who can help me overcome my obstacles; or she could represent me.

In this case, if she represents me, I would take this to mean that I should use the loving energy of the Queen of Cups to push through the fear represented by the 8 of Swords.

Card 3: 9 of Swords

The 9 of Swords is a card of worry and anxiety. The type where obsessive thoughts plague your mind and keep you up at night. In the “weaknesses” section, the 9 of Swords indicates that I am allowing my mind to take control of me.

It shows someone who gets trapped within the web of their own negative thought patterns.

Card 4: Death

This is the card to overcome the obstacles and interestingly it is the card in the Major Arcana that represents the sign of Scorpio. Death represents the death of something to make way for something new – and better.

In the advice position, I take this to mean adopting a new way of thinking. This is because the obstacle is the 8 of Swords. To be free of the mental mind trap of the 8 of Swords, something needs to die so that something else can live. This can be a thought process, a negative thought pattern, or anything related to my mind which is holding me back.

As a Major card, the Death card holds a lot of power and is a clear message from the Universe. That change is necessary, but I am in charge of this particular change. It is up to me to take control of my unruly mind and find balance in order to overcome the challenge.

Harness the Lunar Energies

This Waxing Half Moon in Scorpio, harness the power of the lunar energies with this Tarot spread. Here you can delve deep into your own mind in typical Scorpio fashion and discover both negative and positive aspects of yourself.

Only by facing all sides to yourself can you find a resolution and, subsequently, reach your goals. The courage of the Waxing Half Moon and the penetrating depths of Scorpio work together to help you become the best version of yourself, and achieve your dreams.

The Leo/Virgo Cusp

Let’s dive into the deeper meaning of the Leo/Virgo cusp, starting with the Leo personality.

Leo is ruled by Fire, an element that encourages passion, heat, creativity, friendliness, and warmth. The Fire that rules over this sign is also connected to action, and it encourages an individual to go after what they want with vigor and courage.

The ruling planet for Leo is the life-giving Sun. Think about the fiery energy you feel when standing under the light of the Sun on a hot day. This energy can be found in the fiery personality of the Leo. The Sun encourages warmth, friendliness, creativity, and generosity. Think about how giving the Sun is towards our planet and our species to better understand the giving nature of a Leo.

On the other hand, Virgo is ruled by the element of Earth, an element that brings grounded, responsible energy to the personality of a Virgo. Earth encourages hard work, a connection to Mother Nature, and a desire to be sensible. There is a sense of practicality in the Virgo that can temper Leo’s feisty energy, allowing that feistiness to manifest in positive ways rather than mischievous.

The planet that rules over Virgo is communicative, informative Mercury. Mercury is deeply connected to the mind and the brain, encouraging Virgos to think through everything before making a decision. However, it can also result in overthinking and anxiety. That’s what makes the Leo/Virgo cusp so special – the energy of Leo helps Virgo take risks and go after what they want. Leo brings an impulsivity that helps Virgo step out of their comfort zone and take a leap when necessary.

The Leo/Virgo Cusp Personality

While each and every zodiac sign is unique, there is something supremely individual and interesting about the Leo/Virgo cusp. These two signs balance each other out and encourage a sense of harmony and vigor.

While the Leo/Virgo cusp personality is bold and dynamic, it is also thoughtful and understanding. Leos are known for their ability to assert themselves and stand up for what they believe in; however, the earthy energy that Virgo brings to the table allows someone born on this cusp to share their thoughts and feelings in a tasteful, considerate manner.

Virgos are known for their grounded energy, their focus on responsibility, and their ability to work hard for what they want. Yet, this ambition can cause the Virgo to forget to lighten up and have fun once in a while. When someone is born on the cusp of Leo and Virgo, that Virgo responsibility is tempered by Leo’s fun and feisty personality. You won’t forget to take a break and have a good time with Leo traits coursing through your blood.

Leo/Virgo cuspers are also known to be thoughtful, giving lovers and partners. Leo increases feelings of passion and flirtatious, sexy fun. Yet, Virgo encourages consideration and compassion, making it easier to back down when you know you’re wrong. Virgos are observant and they understand the needs and desires of their partners.

Leos love the spotlight and they’re known for their position as the life of most parties they attend. With the balance of Virgo energy thrown in the mix, you’re reminded to let others bask in the spotlight from time to time. Someone born on the cusp of Leo and Virgo will appreciate the limelight, but they won’t go out of their way to steal it from others.

Those born during this cusp are intellectual, intelligent, thoughtful, kind, warm, friendly, caring, and hard-working. If that doesn’t make you proud to be a Leo/Virgo cusp, what will?

Track the stars each month with our astrological calendar!

But as great as it can be to check in on how the Sun, Moon, and stars affect us all collectively, it can be equally as beneficial to hone in on our specific zodiac signs. With the help of the Tarot and astrology, we can account for any blind spots in this process of seeing ahead, and check off all the boxes on our list — something that bodes well for us in Virgo season!

We’ve pulled one Tarot card each from the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana for your zodiac sign for September 2020. See what your zodiac family received, and what it means, below.

Your September 2020 Tarot Horoscope

The Chariot & Queen of Wands

In August, our bold Aries friends also had received the Tarot card The Chariot, but in a reversed position.

Now upright, combined with fiery, entrepreneurial, and creative soul Queen of Wands, the odds are truly in Aries’ favor this month. Your resources, whether material or emotional, may not have all been immediately recovered, but you are now in a great position to be headed towards a more long-term, stable form of success.

Seize this momentum and energy this September, Aries, and the success you are looking for may just be on the horizon!

Wheel of Fortune (Reversed) & 7 of Pentacles (Reversed)

Everything happens in divine time, stubborn Taurus! Your cards for this month are the Wheel of Fortune in a reversed position, and the 7 of Pentacles, also in a reversed position.

This month it may initially feel like you are hitting roadblock after roadblock, as if all of the progress you thought you were making is now going nowhere. But consider what would happen if every opportunity in your past that you missed out on was something that was handed to you immediately — it would go against the very nature of the patient, hardworking, practical Taurus work ethic and spirit to just be handed everything!

If you feel like you’re in a rut, getting stuck, or can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel this September, take a few deep breaths and remember that you’re still exactly where the universe needs you to be. This too shall pass!

The Tower & Knight of Swords

The Tower brings change wherever it arrives, but this shouldn’t be a problem for our Mutable Geminis!

This September may bring a whirlwind of changes and disruptions. Plans may be brought to a halt, old ideas fall to the wayside, and new relationships can even form, shaking up the foundations of your interpersonal relationships. However, Geminis take upon the brave, swift, and bold attitude of the Knight of Swords this month, indicating that all is handled with confidence and dignity.

So have no fear this September, as the tools you need are right within the core of who you are, Gemini!

The Star (Reversed) & 10 of Wands

You are finally on the last leg of a long and arduous journey, Cancer.

In August, the emotional and physical landscape was rocky for those under the sign of Cancer, to say the least. However, The Star in reversed position demonstrates that you are just at the brink of receiving the fruits of your labor, even if it is still being held off for the time being. Likewise, the 10 of Wands foretells the end of a path, even though it is stressful within the process.

Hold on tight and don’t give up just yet. The clouds are soon to part to reveal a sunny blue sky by the end of September!

The Hermit & King of Wands

If there is one sign that can pull off such an introspective card as The Hermit with the dramatics and fire of the King of Wands all at once, it is you, bold Leo!

It appears that you may be spending much of this September reflecting, planning, and getting your ducks in a row, which is an excellent match for the energy of Virgo season overall. You are naturally doing so, however, in a Fire sign fashion, where confidence, leadership, and creativity are not only welcomed, but put to the forefront of the picture.

Thus, as much as you may be spending time in a planning phase this September, who’s to say that it can’t be a little fun, exciting, and glamorous too?

The Devil & 3 of Wands (Reversed)

When The Devil knocks, temptation hits.

Virgos are well-aware of the importance of control and privacy when it comes to matters of work and planning, and to an extent this can still be useful this September. However, with The Devil and the 3 of Wands reversed, it’s important that you don’t get caught up in keeping everything too secretive from the world. At some point, you may have to let someone else come in and help out.

For Virgo, temptation may overall look like a strong desire to maintain constant control; resist the urge this month to hold onto your reign too tightly.

The Fool (Reversed) & 8 of Pentacles

Libras are thrown into full-throttle work-mode this September, and show no signs of stopping.

With the energy of the 8 of Pentacles on the table for Libra, now will be an excellent time to get all the work that has been put off done and squared away with. However, with The Fool in reversed position, Libras must remember that quality will beat quantity, and mistakes may be inevitable, so don’t rush.

Be willing to see these hiccups as learning opportunities, do your best, and watch as your to-do list dissipates into nothing by the end of the month!

The Emperor & 9 of Swords

This month is an intense one, Scorpio, but that’s just about what you’re built for.

The 9 of Swords forecasts a gloomy haze over your mental state this September. Perhaps it’s the change of the weather into a cloudier sky, or perhaps it’s also that intense Scorpio mind running wild again, letting your anxieties get the better of you. Either way, though, you pull through with major Emperor energy, taking charge over yourself, your attitude, and your lifestyle with grace and finesse, by the end of the month.

Just be willing to be honest with others about where your head is at within this process, Scorpio, as others do want to know what’s going on in that brilliant mind of yours too!

The Lovers & King of Pentacles

While August brought you a multitude of things to juggle at once, September is about settling in and enjoying the present for our roaming archers.

The fun, flirty, and innocent energy of The Lovers brings good fortune to many of your interpersonal connections this month, Sagittarius. But the grounded and practical energy of the King of Pentacles prevents this from leaving reality too much, and keeps things stable and steady.

As a result, you may enjoy more meaningful conversations or interactions with many people in your life, new and old, in September.

Judgement & 9 of Cups

Capricorn is no stranger to lending fine-tuned judgement over themselves and others — and this month, it’s this very skill that will help you thrive if you belong to this earthy, logical zodiac sign.

With the literal Judgement card at hand, combined with the bountiful manifestation potential of the 9 of Cups, there is much fruit to be harvested when it comes to putting the logical Capricorn mind and your keen observation skills to use this month. You may be called to the table for others in giving advice, offering leadership, and organizing what needs to get done.

And if you’re willing to lend your talents, the Universe will lend you some rewards right back!

The Moon & 9 of Pentacles

The mysterious energy of The Moon can cloud up the vision and make future plans seem hazy — so why not enjoy the present instead?

For Aquarius, this September is about enjoying what is right in front of you versus what is ahead or behind you, as the 9 of Pentacles indicates that there is much to celebrate if you’re willing to see it. It’s about embracing the fact that not everything has to be answered right away — and with The Moon at hand, not everything will be answered right away. And that’s okay!

While it may be a bit of an unconventional way to enjoy September, Aquarius is all about the unconventional, so it’s time to embrace something a little different for now!

Pisces are full of newfound energy and a zest for life this September, which is something this dreamy, often emotional sign needs.

The Empress indicates that careful planning, manifestation, and the birthing of new ideas and projects will all receive a green light this month for creative Pisces. Even further, the Page of Wands foretells an abundance of creativity, curiosity, and inspiration, as well as a more happy-go-lucky attitude overall.

While Pisces may have the tendency to sometimes see the world in rose-colored lenses regardless, now is the time where they can come off — and the world will seem just as bright and full of opportunity!

A Final Reminder

Whether or not the future is yet unwritten, there is no denying that astrology and Tarot can be excellent self-help tools when we are confused and bewildered by our current state. Like anything else, your Tarotscope is a tool that can be utilized in these times.

Your Tarotscope can thus serve you now, mid-way through September, or even afterwards if you find yourself in the need of some self-reflection and recollection of events. Feel free to return to it if you find yourself in need of that peace of mind or clarity.

While your career is only one facet of your personality, finding a career that fulfills you can do wonders for your mental and emotional help. When you feel aligned with what you do and what you contribute to the world, you feel more confident and self-assured. And for Fire signs, having passion for your work is crucial.

Fire signs – which include Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius – are creative, feisty, and deeply passionate about the things they care about.

They want to do something that sparks joy and helps them wake up with a spring in their step. Fire signs also enjoy the spotlight, making them particularly well-suited for jobs that put them front and center on the stage. They want a job that infuses their creative skills and talents with fun and excitement and helps them feel more alive.

Fire signs are some of the warmest signs of the zodiac, getting along with most of the people around them thanks to their friendly, exciting personalities.

Aries, Leos, and Sagittarians love to be around people and share their ideas with those that are like-minded. If you can find a way to blend your love of people with your career, your job will feel much less like work and more like an intriguing Universal experience.

Someone who is a Fire sign is also self-motivated and goal-oriented – once they put their mind to something, they’re not likely to let go until they’ve gotten what they want. This passion and drive are synonymous with fiery heat, but that same fiery heat can lead to emotional outbursts or anger. However, they’re likely to get over these feelings almost as quickly as they surfaced.

Let’s take a look at each Fire sign individually and explore career tips and tricks that will help you move towards a future so bright you’ll need shades!

    Aries: The Motivated One

Aries is the first sign in the astrological calendar, representing a new cycle and new experiences. Like the first blooms of spring, Aries moves forward with momentum and ambition. This sign won’t sit around and wait for an opportunity to fall in their laps, they go after what they want with gusto.

You’d be great in any kind of entrepreneurial situation that allows you to be your own boss and follow your own lead.

Mars is your ruling planet, and it is responsible for this assertive personality that drives you forward. The energy that Mars brings to your personality can be strong and forceful, so it’s important that you find a position or a career that allows this forceful energy to express itself!

While you may be friendly and outgoing around others, you will never stand down in the face of something or someone that you disagree with. You need a position that appreciates your willingness to stand up for what you think is right.

Aries is connected to the 1st house, the “house of self.” This places increased importance on your outlook in life, your ego, your perception of yourself, and your path. You feel more drawn to careers or positions that align with who you feel you are on the inside. You may have trouble getting along at a company whose ethics or policies you don’t agree with.

As the first sign of the zodiac, you are always looking for new experiences – you want to taste every flavor that the world has to offer.

This zest for life can sometimes get in the way of your career, especially if you aren’t doing something that you feel passionately about. If you do find work that brings you joy and makes you feel alive, you can become wildly successful. Just remember that patience is a virtue that will take you far in life.

If you become impatient on your pursuit of happiness and a thriving career, you may give up. Stick it out and don’t forget to keep your eye on the prize, because your determination can move mountains!

    Ideal Careers for Aries

You may be drawn towards professions that align with your fiery nature, like welding or firefighting. You shine bright in the spotlight and thrive with creative pursuits. Any position that inspires your spirit and helps you feel more adventurous will be successful.

    Leo: The Natural Leader

Leos are generous, warm, and friendly, and they adore their time spent with others. These charming qualities make them uniquely effective as leaders because people are more willing to listen to and take direction from someone with a friendly approach. You succeed at being a leader or a boss by respecting and inspiring those around you. Ruled by the Sun, you can’t help but radiate warmth and light everywhere you go!

Your zodiac sign is connected to the 5th house, or the “house of pleasure.” This house rules over romantic love, hobbies, interests, and all forms of creativity. For this reason, you would do very well in a creative position that allows you to utilize and share your talents with the world.

Being creative within your career also gives you the opportunity to shine your light on those around you. Your natural talents and desire to share them can cause people to see you as arrogant. Make sure that you’re letting down your guard and being vulnerable with those around you from time to time.

You naturally gravitate towards the spotlight, and you don’t shy away from attention. Many Leos pursue careers in acting or singing, allowing them to fulfill their need for creativity, as well as their desire to be seen. While you are generous with those you love, you do tend to seek external validation. It’s important that you learn to celebrate yourself and your accomplishments before turning to others for accolades.

Your moods can fluctuate quickly and easily. And although you aren’t quite as impulsive as the other Fire signs, you may act on your moods.

Try to find the emotional and mental balance that will help you focus on patience and resilience in your career. Don’t forget how important self-acceptance and self-confidence are on your path towards success. If you believe in yourself, others will too.

    Ideal Careers for Leos

Any position which places you in the center of attention, such as singing in a band or acting, will delight and inspire you. You make a great leader in most any field, and your natural warmth increases your ability to work with children and get through to them.

    Sagittarius: The Philosopher

Sagittarius is the final Fire sign of the zodiac. Ruled by Jupiter, you’re not only naturally lucky, but you’re drawn towards expansion of any kind. You want to know it all, try it all, read it all, travel to every country, and take in as much information this world has to offer.

Jupiter also encourages optimism and faith in the Universe, giving you a rather pleasant, positive disposition.

Associated with the symbol of the archer, Sagittarians are always making new goals and pointing their arrow at future possibilities. Your sign is also linked to the 9th house, the “house of philosophy,” resulting in your curious state of mind.

Your own personal philosophies mean a great deal to you, and you’ll likely find it difficult to work for a company or within a position that doesn’t align with your philosophies.

While you can be motivated to get anything you want and go after your goals, your goals may shift and change frequently. It can be hard for you to keep your eye on the prize long enough to see results, especially when so many areas of life appear so enticing.

You would do fantastically with a job that allows you to try new things and work in many different areas so that you don’t become bored. You also desire expansion in all things, increasing your need for a position that has plenty of room to grow and advance.

Your philosophies and thirst for knowledge may feel more important than the mundane reality and responsibilities of everyday life. If you can find a position that incorporates your beliefs, you’ll feel much better about completing tedious or time-consuming tasks. And while Jupiter encourages a friendly, optimistic attitude, you may need to work on controlling your temper from time to time.

Your fiery nature can lead to impulsivity or emotional outbursts if you’re unbalanced.

    Ideal Careers for Sagittarius

Education, philosophy, travel of any kind – including as a flight attendant or travel agent – or any position that allows you to quench your thirst for knowledge. Entrepreneurial endeavors are typically favored, thanks to Jupiter’s benevolent nature.

Connecting the Career Dots With Your Birth Chart

While many might look towards their Sun sign to find out more about their ideal career, you will benefit just as much from looking at the element that rules that sign. Astrological elements lay the foundation for a particular sign, and give you a better idea of your nature as a whole.

If you don’t quite feel these descriptions fit your personality, you may have another aspect or placement within your chart that possesses a strong energy or influence over you. It’s always helpful to contact an experienced astrologer and ask them to take a look at your natal chart, which will tell you everything you need to know about yourself and your most ideal career.

The Top 10 Tarot Cards For Love

    The Lovers

It goes without saying but this is the card everyone hopes to see in a love reading.

The Lovers is the ultimate love card in the Major Arcana, and indicates a soulmate connection. The Lovers represents the highest form of love, a connection that is deeper than anything physical, mental or emotional.

At the same time, the Lovers can represent a choice. You may recognize your other half in the Lovers card – but are you going to make the choice to be with them, or they with you?

    2 of Cups

Another welcome card in a love reading, the 2 of Cups is the Lovers equivalent in the Minor Arcana.

This card represents a loving connection has been formed. Two people see kinship in one another which has the potential to grow into something more.

    10 of Pentacles

Of all the 10’s, this is the one that bodes the best for a love relationship.

The 10 of Pentacles indicates stability. It’s the card you see for a couple that has grown old together, or has the potential to grow old together. The 10 of Pentacles is even more welcome than the 10 of Cups. Pentacles represent earth, which means they are steady, solid and grounded.

The relationship is one of permanence, nothing fleeting. This card shows that a relationship has solid foundations and cannot be broken easily.

    10 of Cups

Another welcome card in a love reading, the 10 of Cups represents the “happy ending”.

This is a card that all lovers aspire to – the perfect family, the perfect home, the happily ever after. However, the 10 of Cups comes with a warning in a love relationship if it appears in the early stages.

Someone may be daydreaming too much and placing another on a pedestal, which does not match with reality.

    Ace of Cups

Another lovely card in a love reading. This usually pops up when two people are in the very early stages.

The Ace of Cups represents a pure sort of love, and as it is the first card of its suit, it shows a lot of potential. Aces are the seeds of something. The Ace of Cups indicates this is something that could grow into something truly special.

    Knight of Cups

What a romantic card! If this appears in love reading it means someone is head over heels for you.

This is the admirer, the knight in shining armor, the one who wants to sweep you off your feet. The Knight of Cups is probably the most romantic of all cards in the Tarot, and his presence usually brings a smile to people’s faces.

    King of Cups

This is an extremely welcome card in the Tarot. The King of Cups is the mature version of the Knight.

He is someone who loves deeply, and his love is more solid and grounded than the sprightly Knight. The King of Cups in a love reading suggests someone who has very deep, strong feelings for you, but will often choose not to voice these feelings.

    6 of Cups

Also known as the soulmate card of the Minor Arcana, the 6 of Cups is a very powerful card for indicating a strong bond between two people.

This card usually shows up when there is a significant age gap between two people. This is the card that brings warm, fuzzy feelings and indicates a feeling of being very comfortable with one another.

    Queen of Cups

This card indicates a very powerful, emotional bond between two people. It shows the love is strong and real.

The Queen of Cups often pops up in an established relationship, and indicates the person’s feelings are true and pure.

    The World

What a fantastic card to get in a love reading! The World indicates “The One.”

The World comes up when you feel you’ve met your perfect match or vice versa. The World is a card of completion and fulfillment. It doesn’t get much better than this, and The World shows you have finally found your other half.

    Love & Tarot Readings

Ideally in a love reading , you want to see a good mixture of cards.

Too many Wands could indicate the bond is purely about sex; too many Pentacles and there may not be enough depth and emotion to the relationship. Someone may be purely focused on the material. Too many Swords show a strong intellectual bond but not much of anything else. Too many Cups may mean the relationship is not solid or grounded and exists more in a fantasy world. A good mix of all of them shows a steady, stable relationship with loving energy.

Next time you do a reading, see if any of the above cards come up. If so, lucky you!

Tools like spirituality, astrology, numerology, tarot, and self-care routines can work wonders for our mental health, emotional equilibrium, and self-esteem. But let’s face it, no one is perfect.

We all have flaws or habits that can grate on the nerves of others. Likewise, no matter how evolved or spiritually aligned you are, there’s a good chance that you have a pet peeve or two.

Does your partner, best friend, or family member have a certain habit that just drives you nuts? Whether it’s chewing with their mouth open, driving too fast, interrupting your train of thought, or something more significant, like refusing to share their feelings, there’s a good chance that someone, somewhere participates in behavior that simply infuriates you.

Each zodiac sign has its own unique characteristics and traits, and certain things may drive an Aries crazy wouldn’t bother a Cancer in the least.

Today, we’re going to explore the pet peeves of each sign, giving you a better grip on why these habits irritate you, and how to find an amicable solution. When you understand your own pet peeves and why they bother you, it’s much easier to communicate these thoughts and feelings with others in a loving, empathetic manner.

Your Biggest Pet Peeve, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

While there are certain habits or actions that may be considered Universally annoying, your Sun sign can tell you a lot about the behaviors that will leave you seething.

Let’s look at each sign to determine what their biggest pet peeve is, which can not only help you learn more about yourself, but it can also help you understand more about the people you love and care for.

To get more insights about your unique personality, make sure to look at your full birth chart!

Aries is a Fire sign, an element that leads to their straightforward approach and passionate demeanor. You follow your gut and can be quite impulsive at times. It’s like you just know what the right thing to do in the moment is, and it’s hard to change your mind once you’ve made a decision.

One habit that may send Aries over the edge is the inability to make a decision. (We’re looking at you, Air signs.)

Some people like to mull over a decision for hours, days, even weeks before taking the plunge. Aries sees this behavior as a sign of weakness or distraction, which doesn’t flow with the strength and focus that their ruling planet, Mars, brings to their personality.

Ruled by Venus, Taurus is a sign that focuses on compromise, emotional stability, and social grace. While empathetic, you tend to keep your cool under pressure, preferring a calm approach to panic or emotional outbursts. You may be stubborn, but it’s rare that you succumb to over-the-top displays of emotion.

A Taurus does not appreciate an emotional display that causes a scene, especially as a stable, grounded Earth sign.

As a Taurus, it’s best to explain to your loved ones that you feel more empathetic and understanding when emotions remain stable. If you want to get through to a Taurus, explain your feelings as calmly as possible to help them hear and understand your point of view.

Gemini is an Air sign, moving as quickly through life as a windy summer breeze. Geminis think fast, they talk fast, and they prefer stimulation over peace and relaxation.

Your ruling sign, Mercury, is all about communication and the sharing of information, and you want to take in as many informative experiences as possible. And when you’re sharing this information with others, nothing grates on your nerves quite as much as being interrupted.

Some people are excitable during conversations, and they can’t seem to help themselves from inserting their opinions mid-sentence. Try explaining to your loved ones that you really appreciate it when they allow you to finish your stories so you don’t lose your train of thought.

Cancer is ruled by the Moon, the astrological planet that rules over our emotions. As a Water sign, Cancers are deeply connected to their emotional and intuitive center, following their heart at all times. You are loyal and sensitive, coming to the defense of anyone that you feel has been wronged – including yourself.

You desire open, emotional expression and communication, and you can’t stand it when someone refuses to be vulnerable with you.

Likewise, you may also react poorly to criticism, and your biggest pet peeve is when someone is unnecessarily harsh or unkind. If you’re not a Cancer and you want to get on their good side, don’t be afraid to share your emotions and always be kind.

Leo is a sign ruled by the Sun, the planet that sustains life and brings light into the world. As a Fire sign, Leos are passionate and creative, and they love to be in the spotlight. In fact, you naturally gravitate towards the center stage and have no problem maintaining your status as the life of the party.

You probably can’t stand it when someone tries to upstage you, especially when it’s your moment to shine.

Have you even been in the middle of a karaoke performance just to see someone walking towards the microphone to join you? If you’re not a Leo and you want to stay in their good graces, let them soak up the attention before attempting to place the spotlight on yourself.

As an Earth sign, Virgos are responsible, hard-working, and they place a great importance on paying attention to detail. Virgos are not likely to start any task or project that they can’t finish and finish well – or perfectly. You don’t take on an assignment unless you know you’re going to crush it.

Your biggest pet peeve is seeing someone putting less than 100 percent into their work or their responsibilities, especially in relationships. Want to drive a Virgo nuts? Put little effort into maintaining your friendship or romance and watch their head explode.

If you want to impress a Virgo, put your all into anything you do, and make sure your clothes are neat and orderly.

Ruled by Venus, Libras are friendly, sociable, and balanced. Libras know how to negotiate and compromise, as they realize that balance and harmony are crucial for maintaining peaceful relationships. You are a peacemaker, Libra, and as an Air sign, you think things through before sharing your thoughts and feelings.

One of the easiest ways to get under a Libras skin is to be overly emotional, irrational, quick-to-action, or impulsive. Libras want to maintain the balance that they’re always working towards, and they can’t stand unfounded emotional outbursts.

Libra, try letting people you care about know that you prefer a calm and rational discussion over wild emotions.

Scorpio is a Water sign, which is connected to the emotional center. However, their ruling planet, Pluto, urges them to keep their emotions relatively hidden. You prefer the mysterious over the obvious, and you follow the beat of your own drummer.

You don’t conform to society’s notions of who you should be, but rather you prefer to follow your heart.Your biggest pet peeve is watching someone follow the crowd or do something that goes against what they believe in.

You prefer a genuine mess over a fake display. If you’re not a Scorpio but you’re looking to win one over, stay true to yourself and don’t follow the leader.

Sagittarius is ruled by expansive Jupiter, a planet that promotes independence and a desire to seek the truth in all things. And as a Fire sign, you deeply value your freedom. You don’t want to be tied down or forced into situations that don’t align with your spirit. Like wild horses, you want to run free and enjoy everything life has to offer.

What is a Sagittarian’s biggest pet peeve? Being held back or smothered by someone else’s opinions or affection. If you want to win over a Sag, you have to let them be themselves – which includes giving them plenty of space to play on life’s playground.

Trying to tie a Sagittarius down will only result in their wanting to run even faster.

A responsible Earth sign, Capricorns are hard-working and focused on success. Their ruling planet, Saturn, encourages discipline, making Capricorns one of the most down-to-earth and motivated signs. When there’s work to be done, a Capricorn will not sit idly by or procrastinate – they give each and every project their all.

To watch a Capricorn’s head spin, simply act lazy or unmotivated. As a Capricorn, you can’t stand seeing other people procrastinating or avoiding hard work when you maintain so much discipline and focus.

If you’re trying to make your way into a Capricorn’s heart, show them how ambitious and driven you can be.

Aquarius is a friendly sign that focuses a lot of their attention on humanitarian efforts. Their ruling planet, Uranus, combined with their ruling element, Air, increases their ability to care about their global community as well as they do their own social circle. And while you may not be the most willing sign to show outward displays of affection, you truly love the people you care for.

Your biggest pet peeve is when someone within your circle of friends or work colleagues is unnecessarily rude or mean to those around them. You don’t appreciate unwarranted negativity or nastiness.

If you’re not Aquarius and you want to know how to get along with one, work on amplifying your empathy and being kind to those around you.

As a Water Sign, Pisces are empathetic and compassionate. Pisces feel their feelings deeply, and they want to help everyone around them feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin. Your ruling planet, Neptune, amplifies your sensitivities and ability to understand how others are feeling at any given moment.

If you want to see a Pisces’ skin crawl, just be a jerk. Be sarcastic, rude, and don’t make any effort to understand where someone else is coming from. As a Pisces, you can’t stand it when others refuse to try to put themselves in another person’s shoes.

If you want to win the heart of a Pisces, deepen your empathy and willingness to be there for others.

    Celebrating Each Other’s Flaws

While there may be lots of actions and behaviors that get under your skin, it’s important to remember that we are all human. No one is perfect, no matter how much growth or personal transformation they go through in life. It’s important to be open and honest with those you love about the things that bother you, giving them the opportunity to find another approach.

Let’s celebrate each other’s flaws as well as our own and bring more peace and understanding in the world through astrology!

Ever wondered what exercise is best for you? How about what exercise is best for you based on your Chinese Zodiac sign? Well, now you can find out!

Maybe you’re a Tiger and find that upbeat, high-intensity workouts are best for you. Maybe you’re a Rabbit and need something a little more slow-paced to really feel the effects. Read on to discover which workout is best for you based on your Eastern astrology sign.

Make sure to find out your Chinese Zodiac sign if you don’t already know it!

As a Rat, the best workout for you is jogging or swimming. Rats are naturally adept to water, and swimming is one exercise that enables you to use your energy in the most productive manner.

You need something which isn’t too fast but isn’t too slow either. If you’re more of a land person, then jogging has the same effect.

As an Ox, you benefit the most from strength-training. Ox individuals are usually quite strong physically, and to maintain this, it is good to get a strength-training workout in your routine three or four times a week.

This is also good for you mentally. Dumbbells and resistance bands are highly recommended.

As a Tiger, HIIT workouts and lower body strength-training works best for you. You have a lot of energy, and this is fast-paced rather than slow-burning. Like a big cat that sprints in the wild, you have a tendency to burn out quickly, but when you are moving, you have a lot of energy and power.

A 10 minute HIIT workout is very effective for you. Lower-body strength training exercises keep Tigers strong well into old age.

As a Rabbit, you benefit the most from yoga or running on the treadmill. You are someone who prefers a slow and more relaxing method of exercise. High intensity workouts are not really your style.

Yoga is both beneficial and relaxing for you. You also have good stamina, so running on the treadmill for 45 minutes has a positive effect on your physical and mental well-being.

As a Dragon, stair-climbing and sports like tennis are good for you. Like all members of the First Trine, you have a competitive nature, so it is good for you to engage in sports that challenge your body, as well as your mind.

You are someone who strives to achieve, so stair-climbing is very apt, and also works your lower body, keeping it strong and fit. Both of these exercises bring you a sense of accomplishment, which is important to you.

As a Snake, yard work and upper-body strength training are best for you. Yard work like raking and gardening lets you get in the great outdoors, which is important for your well-being.

You have great stamina, so you are able to work in the fields to your heart’s content. Snakes need to keep their upper bodies strong too, so arm and chest workouts are highly recommended.

Brisk walks and outdoor sports are the best types of exercise for you as a Horse. You don’t like being contained, and it’s good for you to be outdoors when you exercise, particularly on beaches or fields.

A brisk walk keeps your body pumping, while outdoor sports like tennis or soccer bring you a sense of fun. It’s important for you to have fun while you exercise as you get bored easily.

You aren’t into anything too strenuous, so yoga and light jogging are best for you, Goat. It is best for you to do a regular light exercise rather than heavy infrequent exercise. Too much mental strain while exercising can cause you to give up entirely, so it is best to pace yourself.

Yoga helps to align your mental, physical and emotional energies, bringing you inner stability, which is important for you as you are very sensitive.

As a Monkey, the best exercise for you is biking. This is beneficial for you in a number of ways. As a member of the First Trine, you also have good stamina and biking enables you to harness this energy, and bring you that all-important “First Trine sense of achievement.”

Biking also keeps your lower body strong, which is important for Monkeys. You can find this type of exercise very enjoyable, and see quicker results than most from doing it.

The best exercises for you are hiking and running. You exercise best when you are outdoors, and when you are able to cover vast areas of land.

As you have a competitive spirit, you also benefit from taking part in running competitions such as marathons. This enables you to embrace your desire to win, and your desire to keep fit as one. Being outdoors is also healing and therapeutic for you.

Like your furry counterpart, you enjoy brisk walks and group exercise. As the Dog, you exercise best when you are doing it in a team.

Group exercise at the gym can be very motivational for you, and having a regular evening walk helps boost your mental energies, as well as keep your physical body strong and supple.

As a Pig, the best type of exercise for you is ever-changing. You are one who struggles to motivate yourself with exercise as you don’t like the strain it puts on you both physically and mentally. Therefore, it is essential that you regularly change your exercise regime.

You could have HIIT and lower-body strength training one week; then jogging and swimming the next week; then running and upper body strength-training the next; and so forth.

Planning out a weekly exercise regime for you keeps you motivated and interested, as you’ll always have something new to try.

Time to Start Your Exercise Regime!

So there you have it, the best exercise for you based on your Chinese Zodiac sign. Try and incorporate each one into your weekly exercise regime. Motivation can be tough, but the exercises included for your individual sign work naturally well with your energies, so it makes it just that little bit easier.

Above all, have fun while doing them!

Have you heard about Hermes The Messenger and The Trickster? Better known to us as Mercury, he was the only Olympian able to travel between the land of the living and the land of the dead. In August, he will be busy in the skies.

Hermes (or Mercury) rules trade, short travels, human consciousness, and the logical mind and its cognitive functions such as: perception, interpretation, rational and deductive thinking, learning, speech, and communication. He corresponds to the left side brain, and with the anatomy of hearing.

Thus, you can see how important it is to pay attention to what he’s doing as he influences many of our fundamental human functions!

Let’s explore his role and his journey throughout this month.

    Mercury Moves Into Leo

    August 5, 2020

Mercury leaves the sensitive sign of Cancer to enter bright Leo on the 5th of August, and we see communication turning outwards, becoming more expressive, loud, dynamic, charismatic, and even passionate.

Thoughts become bolder and more daring, as well as creative.

Mercury in Leo is able to captivate people with their speech, because it knows when to say the right things at the right time. Expect to feel like you need your message to get out, and to have a more lively way of speaking.

    Mercury Squares Uranus

    August 10, 2020

On August 10th, Mercury squares Uranus, and our minds rebel.

You may feel difficulty in finding words to express your unique thoughts, as they happen so fast in your logical mind that you feel you can’t keep up, so write them down instead.

These thoughts can be “out of the box,” and way ahead of the current time, which may even shock you. This is when the lightbulb moments and insights occur in a flash, and new dendrites are being made in your brain. It’s also when you can feel scattered, anxious, and have bizarre and erratic ideas.

There’s a dangerous tendency to do things in the spur of the moment, and then regret them later. You might also receive surprising news, and have issues with electrical devices in general.

Your brain is highly stimulated and excited at this time, so if you aren’t already familiar with meditation and/or breathing exercises, then it is an auspicious time to look into these valuable practices, or any other ones which allow you to relax your mind, and tone down any nervous and edgy feelings.

In addition, it’s a time to remain flexible and open-minded to deal better with unexpected situations, and to think twice before agreeing, acting or deciding on something.

Mercury in Leo Trines Mars in Aries

    August 17, 2020

Mercury in Leo will trine Mars in Aries on the 17th of August. You can expect for messages to get heated!

On this day words are set on fire. There can be a rush to speak up, to be upfront, and communicate clearly what’s on our mind. There’s natural self confidence in speaking, and an eagerness to have a good discussion.

Our mind is sharp and alert, we learn faster by doing rather than observing, and our approach to situations is practical and positive.

Make the most out of this time by strategizing and formulating a plan of action to turn your ideas into things. It’s a good time to make decisions and to get a lot of work done. Writing, word games, athletics and competition are also favoured.

    Mercury Enters Virgo

    August 20, 2020

In the coming days, Virgo extinguishes all the fire as Mercury enters this sign on the 20th.

We will feel a shift as now we are much more thoughtful about what we say. Our logical minds become more analytic and observant, and messages here are more shy than in Leo, but they can also be very precise with their detailed information.

Mercury in Virgo Trines Uranus & Jupiter

    August 25 & August 29, 2020

Uranus trine on the 25th offers new ideas and creative solutions to your questions.

On the 29th, Jupiter trine will spread optimism, bring opportunities to expand your horizons, and increase even more of the available information. Your intuition is sharper as well as your creativity and ability to think about abstract principles. You will be able to reflect upon larger questions of life and consciousness as Jupiter rules the right brain.

    Neptune Opposes Mercury

    August 30, 2020

Neptune opposing Mercury on the 30th stinks of “fake news.” Here we have foggy perception – creating a necessity to ensure we fully understand the meaning of whatever we hear, read or see. It’s not a good time to make important decisions.

This is a day prone to misunderstandings and miscommunication, we can say even just one thing while meaning another, so be straightforward with your words, and don’t beat around the bush!

On a more positive note, it’s a good day for creative and artistic projects where you have to use your imagination.

    Embrace the Energy of Mercury

All in all, we have an active month for Mercury. Expect more information to be revealed – and to hear the people roar with Mercury in Leo. Afterwards, with Mercury in Virgo, we enter a period of reflection and scrutinization about what has been discussed in the past. .

It’s time to speak up your truths folks, and to plan ahead the path you really want to walk in the world. Stay safe!

Today we are going to look deeper into this zodiac sign that will help you see how weaknesses are actually strengths.

Ultimately, looking at Leo’s unique way of seeing the world will help us find ways to get along with them better so we can work, live, and play in harmony.

Things You Need to Know About Leo

To truly understand this sign, it’s important to know its element, symbol, and ruling planet.

Leo is a Fire sign which is why they are energetic, dynamic, and creative. This makes them extroverted and courageous, constantly wanting to help instigate new things.

The Leo symbol is a Lion which reveals their core personality on another level. The lion is known as the king of the jungle which means Leos can’t help that they are often asked to be a leader, or feel like they should be. They have a lot of energy that is often required of those taking on extra responsibility.

Finally, their ruling planet is the Sun. This means they often feel compelled to “wake people up” and inspire them, just as the Sun pulls us from our slumber. Leos intrinsically feel a need to help support life in big ways, which is why they may not be too interested in things that feel repetitive or that aren’t growth-oriented.

    8 Unfair Myths About Leo

Leos are not satisfied with mediocrity, and will usually challenge themselves to grow. Let’s look at how this big-picture personality is often misunderstood so we can support them in being great leaders and change agents, and perhaps even learn a thing or two from their courage.

    1. They Are Bad Listeners

Leos are storytellers and like to talk in public which often makes people think they will not be an engaged listener. Leos actually live to uplift and help others, and pride themselves in that fact.

They are actually very motivated from a core level to listen, relate, and help you pull out your inner strength. While they may not want to listen to certain things like complaining or excuses, they will stay up all night with you listening to your hopes and dreams, and help you come up with a plan to reach them.

    2. They Think They Are Better Than Other People

Because Leos are so confident and talk about things they’ve done, people often mistake this enthusiasm for narcissism.

A Leo doesn’t share because they want people to tell them how great they are. If you listen to the intention behind their story, they are often trying to inspire you to believe in yourself, and to find more happiness by sharing something they have learned.

They don’t have all the answers but if they see an opportunity to inspire, they will take it. In turn, they want to hear all about your life as well.

    3. They Constantly Need Attention

Leos are often active on social media, attend lots of social events or host them, and tend to be highly social creatures in general. Just because they are not introverts, it doesn’t mean they are just trying to get attention. They learn about the world through people, and collect information by interacting with people.

This zodiac sign finds motivation by constantly learning about people who triumph over adversity, or rise from the ashes of a challenge. They are looking for ways to learn how to be a better leader or contributor to society by talking to people, and they don’t need as much time by themselves to think or decompress as some other signs do.

Don’t mistake their ability to handle lots of people without getting overwhelmed as needing validation.

    4. They Are Vain & Arrogant

This is a major stereotype of this zodiac sign!

We often categorize Leos as arrogant because they have “swagger” and capture the attention of a room easily. Their charisma simply comes from their element and ruling planet, which gives them a big energy field. Their bold fashion also makes people think they are vain, but they simply like to have fun, and aren’t afraid to express themselves or stand out.

One thing about natural leaders is that they have to be willing to break the mold. Leos do not follow the crowd, and they are willing to think independently and make big, bold choices when it counts.

    5. They Are Selfish

This is another really big misunderstood aspect of Leos. Leos don’t compromise their goals or set them aside for relationships. They prioritize their careers because they know that they need a channel for all of their Fire in order to stay balanced.

Although they might appear to be obsessed with their own success, it’s often just that they know how much time and energy it takes to launch really big projects. They will do more in a year than some people do in a decade, and this is because they have a ton of energy and need an outlet for it.

It’s hard for someone with so much energy to just sit and watch the birds fly and feel relaxed. Leos always feel like they need to be learning all they can to lead revolutions. If you manage your expectations of this zodiac sign, you’ll find it easier to appreciate them.

    6. They Are High Maintenance in Relationships

That leads us to another myth that can give people cold feet about getting into relationships with Leos.

Leos may have a lot going on in their life besides you, and for some people, that can be hard to accept. They are very passionate about what they do, and because they love what they do so much, they often obsess over it. If you can understand their vision, you will not feel like you need their constant attention and support who they are.

If it’s difficult to accept that a Leo might have other passions besides you, you can look at it as an invitation to get in touch with your own passions instead of feeling jealous or neglected. You can set boundaries and get excited about your own goals. Just don’t mistake enthusiasm for being high maintenance.

    7. They Can’t Play the Supportive Partner Role

If you worry about not having someone who will ask you how your day is or pay attention to what is going on in your life, a Leo can actually be highly supportive. You just need to know the type of support they can offer, and realize that different zodiac signs are able to support others based on their own unique personalities.

Leos can support you in feeling confident, facing your fears, tackling big life changes, overcoming setbacks, and pulling your big dreams out from hiding. While they may not seem to care about which couch you buy or what colour your hair is, they just want you to be happy, and they will be attentive to the core things that can help you get there.

    8. They Are Opportunists & Power Hungry

If you have met a Leo that comes off as someone who just likes to rub elbows with the movers and shakers, it’s true that they try to know just about everyone (especially those who own businesses or are successful). However, just because they go after what they want, it doesn’t mean that they will step on people to get there.

Leos actually enjoy making everyone around them successful, and will go to great lengths to help lift their friends up with them. They are open to taking risks and looking for opportunities, but they also have big hearts and empathy.

Why It’s Best to Let These Myths Go

The next time you find yourself thinking negatively about a Leo (even if it’s yourself), think about how you may be acting judgemental because you just don’t understand them enough.

Remember that it is much more fun to get along with people than to not like them. When we see the good in others, and work to really understand them, it opens us to unlimited positive experiences, friendships, romance, and opportunities.
